Easily Access the Pump,
Filters, and Components

Keeping your pond free of debris has never been simpler. Filtrific's pond filtration system includes either one or two pre-filters which not only protect your pump but also keep your pond debris free. When it's time to service your pump, clean your filter or install an auto-fill all you need to do is to simply remove the lid and all your components are virtually at your fingertips.

Cleaning the filters is as easy as opening the top access port and removing the filter baskets, empty the debris and wash the screens, drop them back into place and secure the lid. It's that simple.
Accessing the pump and other hardware in the filter tank is convenient as well. Remove the two stainless steel bolts that hold the lid in place and the single bolt under the lid that secures the filter carriage. Pull the filter baskets and the carriage and you've got complete access to the pump chamber and all components. If you block the pond water intake (WP1 or WP2 service plug) and turn off the auto-fill (if one is connected), you can pump the tank nearly dry to help facilitate service. When finished, reverse the process and you're back in business.

Filter Baskets

A standard filter is included with the Pond All-In-One Kits and also the Pond-Packs. You may purchase additional screens that are easily interchanged. A tighter mesh will capture fine debris (Hemlock needles, for example) that may plug up a small fountain pump, while a coarser mesh will allow some debris and greater water flow for systems with larger, less sensitive pumps. You may find that the standard mesh is fine for most of the year, but an alternative is better in autumn.
